Financial Miracle:

“For months I had been having car problems, and at one point, I had been without a car for a month, relying on family and friends for rides. I never knew that AAA had a monthly limit on towing, but in a week and a half, I found out that they do. My mechanic told me it would not be wise to fix my car with 200K miles, but he would try.

In early February, on the 7th, I was praying and told God I wasn’t asking for a new car, I just needed mine to keep running until He had new one for me. In the 10th, I received a call from a friend in Charlotte. He told me they wanted to help me out with money for a new car! And soon, in my bank account was $25,000.00! I started looking online and Pastor Marco was helping me.

The next morning I thought, I should start over and look for a used car and save some of the money that had been gifted to me. During my devotion time, I read James 1:5, and I said, “God, I need your wisdom, and I am not buying a car until I hear from you!” While I was getting ready, I suddenly heard th eLord say, ” I didn’t give you $25,000.00 for an old car, I gave you the money for a new car. What you are doing, trying to buy an old car and save some of the money, that is coming from fear. When you have another need, I will take care of that too!” And I said, “Okay”.

My cousin took me to the car dealership. As I was walking around, an employee came out and asked what I was looking for. I told her I was looking for a Tucson, and she said, “Great! You are here on the right day!” A salesman came and helped me. He showed me the used Tucson and went to talk with his manager. When he returned, he was shaking his head, saying, “I have NEVER seen them do this!”, and he proceeded to tell me that the dealership was going to sell me the brand new 2026 Tucson for the same price as the used one! I came home with a 2026 Tucson, with 44 miles on it, for the price of the used car I had seen online and had wanted. God is so good!

I couldn’t wait to tell my church family what the Lord had done. As I was telling Walkiria about my new car, she tells me that she has been praying for me and the Lord showed her the car – and the right color! She started to cry, thanking God for what she had seen and answered prayer.

Thank You, God!! I have a new car!”

Justice in the Courtroom:

“Isaiah 61:8 (CSB) For I the LORD love justice; I hate robbery and injustice; I will faithfully reward my people and make a permanent covenant with them.”

Against all odds, with a possible sentence of up to 50 years imprisonment, the accuser of the brethren was silenced in the court! Just this month, Church at Northwood had the opportunity to experience the book of Acts in a real life drama. A church attender was falsely accused of heinous crimes. The accusations were so vehement that it was now coming to trial by jury. If this person had been found guilty of charges, the consequences would have been imprisonment for the remainder of his life. What do you do when you are falsely accused and it seems there is no way out? You do what the Word instructs. You submit to God (His Word), resist the devil, and he will flee! (James 4:7) As the details were discussed with church leaders, a scripture was brought to mind before prayer began.

In Philippians 1:19, Paul, who was wrongfully imprisoned wrote to the church in Philippi that he knew that by their prayers and the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, his situation would turn around. Two things were needed; prayers of the church and the Spirit of Jesus Christ to turn things around.

We continued in prayer and fasting over the next few days while court was in session. The defendant took a courageous stand by refusing to agree with a lie. Standing on the Word of God that no weapon formed against him would prosper and every lying tongue would be condemned, he trusted his vindication would come from the Lord! (Isaiah 54:17) He also exercised faith in God’s love by choosing to speak forgiveness over his accusers, and speaking blessings over those who persecuted him. The results? Freedom instantly came into his mind and emotions. The power of the enemy’s lies of abandonment were broken and deliverance was on the way! As in the account found in Acts 12 of Peter’s supernatural release from jail, Northwood’s prayers in agreement with the Holy Spirit, foiled Satan’s plans to steal, kill, and destroy this innocent man’s life. Praise Almighty God! The jury declared “not guilty” on all accounts!”

Young Couple’s Deliverance From Pornography, Anxiety, Rejection, and Masturbation:

“We were radically set free from demons we had carried for 10 plus years… Thank you Jesus for setting us free and restoring my family to even better.

I was raised in a spiritual environment. At age 8, I started struggling with masturbation… By age 10, I was introduced to pornography. I felt so guilty and so much shame. I would commit the sin, repent and then go as long as I could until I “had to” commit the sin again. This is what it is like to be oppressed by a demonic spirit…I was too worried about people thinking I was a fraud than to just get delivered. By age 18, I was taking medications just to function and had suicidal ideations weekly. I had a severe issue with perfectionism…this fueled the anxiety and depression…

My husband had dealt with a pornography addiction since he was a young child. We drove to Church at Northwood, because this was “home’ and I knew the right people to help me would be there… Not only did we get set free from demons, but my husband was filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues. My husband and I are new creations. Days after deliverance…
the arguments had stopped. We were both on fire for God and we were working out of love and peace. My husband now loves me like Christ loves the church. He became the Bible’s definition of love.”

Physical Healing Brings Warmth and Comfort:

“My shoulder has been feeling stiff and difficult to move, especially when I fall asleep. So Miguel prayed over me, and laid hands on my shoulder. As he was praying, I felt warmth spread through my shoulder, like someone had placed a heating pad on my shoulder. But it wasn’t a heating pad, it was God! After prayer, I immediately felt my shoulder loosen and relax!”

“Back in May 2024, I asked Pastor Kim for prayer about Stella (8), my great granddaughter who was living with her mother in a bad situation. We have tried numerous times already to bring her home. We prayed for God to bring her home, into his house. After prayer, I received a vision of Stella walking hand in hand with Jesus as he led to the bright light ahead. Immediately, I felt peace and I had faith God was going to free her. In July, God was the judge in the courtroom as it was declared she is under full custody of her dad, safe and sound! When it seemed it was impossible, God made a way! Don’t Stop Praying!”

“I was raised in Catholicism, which is rooted in rules and routine, while dealing with the mental distress of a dissolving marriage ending in divorce. A friend invited me to Northwood when I expressed I wanted spiritual guidance and breakthrough. On 9/8/2024, Pastor Kim prayed over me at the altar, and I received breakthrough and I dropped the victim mentality. The very next day, 3 MAJOR blessings occurred that was greater than waking up in the morning or receiving a hot meal. IT WAS MORE! Then on 9/15/2024 I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit where I heard God speak to me, ‘He is always with me, He never left me!’ I want to encourage other women that you ARE NOT a victim and God is always with you!”

CANCER HEALED:

“On June 26, 2020 I received a call that I never thought I would receive. I was told that a Previous skin biopsy that was done on the 22nd came back as stage 2 Melanoma cancer
In my arm. On Sunday, June 28th I was prayed over at church by my pastor and his wife for God to remove my cancer. July 9th, I had surgery and the surgeon removed a large area down to The interior of my muscle. The tissue was sent to pathology. My pathology report came Back as NO EVIDENCE of CANCER! The oncologist doctor was baffled and said “where did It go?” I stated, “God! God removed my cancer from my arm.” My daughter, Ashlee, who was with me also told the Dr., it was God. He healed my mama. God delivered me from cancer. And as I was being prayed over, I could feel the presence of God covering me. God is the physician and he healed me!

EAR INFECTION HEALED:

I was having an issue with my left ear. I went to Church and the Pastor prayed for my ear and the pains left immediately. When I came home my ear started to drain and I have not had an issue with it since then!!! Praise God!!!

GRAVES DISEASE HEALED:

As I was making final preparations to receive ordination for ministry, I suddenly developed Graves’ Disease (hyperthyroidism). I lost 30 pounds in 30 days. My resting heart rate exceeded 100 and my body was burning up for several weeks. I was extremely weak and physically unable to function. The doctor explained that there was no cure. He told me that my thyroid would need to be removed and I would be dependent on medication the rest of my life. In faith, my wife and I fasted and prayed speaking nothing but healing scriptures for days without seeing any change. At 4 am one morning I awoke in the Presence of the Lord. He spoke to my heart saying, “Unforgiveness is preventing your healing.” I immediately began to rehearse who, what, when and where. I had forgiven many people who had caused me great offense in the past. He spoke to my heart again and said, “You can tell if you are holding unforgiveness against someone by your first thoughts that come when you think of them.” If you are holding any offense, you will immediately sense feelings of hurt or even anger. Then, he reminded me of a man who had caused great offense to me in years past. I had just forgotten about it but, had never forgiven him. I became determined to free him in forgiveness. When I reached out to him on social media, he responded with a message of strong accusation against me and he was wrong. This only made me feel justified in holding on to the offense. Then, The Lord reminded me about telling him I would forgive. When I finally did so, I was healed from incurable Graves’ disease. I returned to my doctor and the new blood work medically proved MY THYROID WAS HEALED! God gave me a new thyroid by my faith in and obedience to His Word.
